About Us – Troop 340

Troop 340 is one of the longest-established Scout troops in the Tampa Bay Area. We offer a comprehensive co-ed program that combines hands-on learning, outdoor activities, personal growth opportunities, and leadership skill development for youth.

Our Program Structure:

Weekly Meetings: We hold regular gatherings where Scouts learn new skills, plan activities, and work on advancement requirements.

Monthly Camping Trips: Throughout the year, we organize outdoor adventures that include:

• Swimming
• Outdoor skills
• Canoeing
• Hiking
• Various Scout-specific skills

Summer Camp: Each summer, we attend a week-long Boy Scout camp. This immersive experience allows Scouts to:

Youth Leadership
