For this camp out, the troop had their annual cooking competition between both patrols and they even made time to complete some service hours; this troop sure is ambitious!  As you can imagine, they do not mess around and they show up to cook amazing food for the judges.  The first team, the Trolling Wizards made guacamole for cracker barrel, crepes for breakfast, hamburgers for lunch, chicken alfredo for dinner and a cookie monster cookie cake for dessert.  The second team, the Buttered Biscuits made a charcuterie board for cracker barrel, omelets made with duck eggs (yes, you read that right, they made omelets with duck eggs), hot dogs for lunch, gumbo for dinner and a French toast casserole for dessert.  These patrols showed up and showed out with their exemplary cooking skills, especially since they all had limited items to cook their meals on at the camp site, impressive right?  Now, I am sure you are waiting for me to announce this year’s winner, so without further ado… (drumroll please) this year’s winner was the Trolling Wizards!!  Way to go Trolling Wizards, keep up the good work.  Will the Trolling Wizards keep their title next year, or will the Buttered Biscuits come in and sweep their competition out…stay tuned for the next annual cooking competition to see who brings home the win.
