For this camp out, the troop took it back to the basics as they willingly gave up their phones (shocking, I know) and played as well as explored unstructured. The scouts played hard all day Saturday (some got super dirty) and they all got lost in the fun that they were having with each other. Unfortunately, the scouts were unable to participate in the astronomy portion of the camp out as a rain cloud appeared 15 minutes before they were to join the Astronomy Club, we are flexible though and will reschedule this activity in the future. Super proud of the scouts for their willingness to disconnect from technology and enjoy their time just being kids.
