For this jamboree, the roadies (the Allen’s) were off on another adventure together so that Chayton could lead three patrols on a 10-day trip through the reserve as he was elected to serve as our Council’s Assistant Senior Patrol Leader. Over the 10 days, they camped with almost 15,000 scouts and were able to take part in many different activities, such as archery, skateboarding, white water rafting, training, mountain biking and so much more. To put this trip into perspective, the roadies walked over 75 miles in 10 days and unfortunately ran out of time before they could finish all the activities that the jamboree had for the scouts. Overall, the roadies not only got to spend quality time with each other on this adventure, but they also made a lot of new friends and left with some great memories to carry them forward until they are on the road together again.
