Living in Florida has its advantages and for this camp out, the troop got to enjoy great sunny weather and to sleep near the water for a couple of nights, sounds amazing, right? In addition, the troop also got to have some fun on the water as a few adults brought their boats so that the troop could also visit Egmont Key, where some snorkeled and some swam, but all had a blast! This camp out also taught a few of the scouts that putting your food away properly is important, otherwise the trash bandit (raccoon) will steal it from you; don’t worry no one ever goes hungry on these camp outs, we always pack extra for emergencies. Lastly, thank you to all the boat captains that helped make this camp out even more fun for the troop.
