Part of being a Boy Scout is earning merit badges, which typically is hard work, but if you have noticed a theme with this troop, they also try to balance it out with fun wherever they go. For this activity, the American Legion allows the troop to use their pool if any scouts need to earn their swimming merit badge, which all scouts accomplished albeit there were some exaggerated saving techniques sprinkled in to keep things interesting. In addition, this meeting just so happened to include a couple of birthdays that were celebrated with gusto from the troop (there aren’t many dull moments around this bunch). I’m sure both Mr. Watson and Mason enjoyed their birthday wishes from all!
