The highest rank that you can achieve in scouts is Eagle, which is a great accomplishment as only about 5% of all scouts have earned this rank since 1912. Our troop had the honor of celebrating not one, but two scouts who through their grit and determination, as well as their having great adult leaders to guide them, accomplished their goal of ranking out to Eagle within weeks of each other (we won’t talk about the adults who have a little more gray hair from the stress they endured to ensure the scouts made it to the finish line). To our Eagle Scouts, go forth and do the great things that we all know you are capable of and be proud of your accomplishments both big and small.
