Pirates have taken over! Our weekend at Manatee Springs was full of swimming; even at 80 degrees outside, the water proved to be a bit chilly at times, even for some of our hearty Pirates. However, it did not slow down our Pirates, who traversed the camp during a camp-wide treasure hunt! Building a pirate ship, starting a fire with limited supplies, and avoiding walking the plank were just a few of the activities we enjoyed. A few pirates might have been directionally challenged, but all ended well, and we enjoyed a hearty meal around the campfire.
